Banasurasagar Dam is located at the foot of Banasura hill that encloses the water from Karamanathodu tributary of the Kabini river. It is the largest earthen dam in the country (and second largest in Asia). I was cruising through the serene waters in a speed boat, holding my camera with 70-200mm lens for some possible birding, but this scene appealed me as a landscape frame. The boatman didn’t slow down the boat much; still I was lucky to get this shot while moving.
